Dr. Chung was absent from the Hospital for a period of three weeks from 26th April, making enquiries into the prevalence of Plague in the districts of Tungkun, Shun Tak, and Shiu Hing. During his absence Dr. U I Kai acted for him.
I have had much less trouble in the keeping of clothing, bedding, commodes, &c., clean than was the case during the first quarter of the year. The hospital employees seem to be settling down fairly satisfactorily to the new routine.
I enclose a copy of minutes made in the Visitors' Book by visiting Justices during the three months under review.
I have, &c.
